Behavioral Analyst


Job Description:

De Vore Recruiting is looking for an experienced, board-certified, Behavior Analyst who has strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Qualified candidates will be able to effectively give verbal instruction, functional assessments, problem behavior reduction programming, & staff training/supervision. The candidate should be able to reduce targeted behaviors and transition patients back into an in-home or community setting.


Job Responsibilities:

The Behavioral Analyst will oversee staff therapists and direct care employees. Candidates will be responsible for training, counseling, coaching, mentoring, and leading employees to become better at providing care to all patients in the facility. Qualified candidates in this position will be reporting to the hospital administrator and corporate board-certified behavioral analyst.


Other Responsibilities Include: 

- Communicate and meet with families about goals, plans, monitoring supervision of the implementation of assessment goals, behavior plans, and ongoing monitoring of the patient’s progress.

- Talk with other employees about the rationale of behavioral intervention and the program design for patients resulting in significant clinical change.


Job Requirements:

Behavioral analysts should possess a strong background in developing and managing language programs to facilitate the acquisition of communication skills. They should also be able to work with a wide range of patients’ while developing and supervising the implementation of clinical programs in the patients environment. Candidates are required to have great work ethic and a proven track record of quality work.


Additional requirements include: 

- Current certification 

- Ability to work both independently, and with a team in a dynamic, fast paced environment 

- Must be flexible and patient 

- Previous experience working in a reputable clinic, home, or school program



Benefits:

Qualified candidates will be offered competitive pay and benefits. Most behavioral analysts will make between 40,000 to 50,000 dollars per year depending on location and facility. Comprehensive benefits packages are also normally included for full time employees.
