Currently seeking a RN Nurse Manager for a great opportunity in the Boise, Idaho area. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice nursing in the state of Idaho, have 3+ years of nursing experience  and have previous supervisory experience.

 

Compensation for the RN Nurse Manager

 

Salary: $55,000 to $62,000 annually with an excellent benefits package

 

Requirements of the RN Nurse Manager

 

  • Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Idaho
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • 3+ years of nursing experience
  • Supervisor experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must be a results-oriented leader
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Must have working knowledge of relevant and applicable computer programs such as MS office suite
  • Must possess strong organizational and follow through skills
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability of concerns and special requests to ensure satisfaction is achieved
  • Professional, polite and respectful attitude to enhance the service experience

 

Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager

 

  • Provide services in accordance with state assisted living standards and nurse practice act.
  • Participate in pre-admissions assessments for potential residents.
  • Participate in all in-service programs to expand and develop abilities.
  • Maintain compliance to all personnel policies, established community policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations and standards.
  • Understand and implement the Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Plan and evacuation procedures of the community during drills and emergencies.
  • Perform admission and periodic assessments on residents for functional and mental abilities.
  • Develop service plans for residents based on needs assessments.
  • Review/revise assessments and service plans at change in resident condition and at frequency determined by state.
  • Assist residents in scheduling medical, dental and laboratory appointments.
  • Administer and document medications in accordance to the five rights: right medication, right route, right resident, right time, and right dose.
  • Supervise and monitor medications for residents who self-administer.
  • Observe residents and reports condition changes to physicians, health care proxies, and supervisors.
  • Prepare or examine food trays for prescribed diets and assist residents with meals.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Participate in risk management procedures for entire community.
  • Respond to emergency calls from Independent Living per community policy.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
