Director of Staff Development Our client, a premiere Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), is seeking a LVN Director of Staff Development (DSD) to orient and train new and existing staff.

As the Director of Staff Development (DSD), you will prepare, develop, and implement a comprehensive staff development plan annually, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and changing them as needed to improve effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  • As the Director of Staff Development, you'll direct and coordinate all in-service educational programs of the facility in accordance with the current Federal, State, and Local Regulations, as well as develop and direct orientation programs for skilled nursing personnel.
  • You'll provide leadership, remain current on new developments and maintain a working relationship with the Medical Profession and other related organizations.
  • You'll also develop, maintain and secure records, reports, instructional manuals and reference materials pertinent to in-service programs.

DSD Director of Staff Development – LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse 


  • Must have a valid license to practice as an LVN.
  • Must have at least one year of long term care experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable with computers.
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
